Abstract: The impact of lifelong learning on career advancement is a vital area of study, particularly in rapidly changing job markets. This research explored how lifelong learning influences career advancement among adults in Ogun, Nigeria. The objectives were to determine the role of lifelong learning in skill enhancement, to assess its impact on job performance, and to measure career progression among participants. The study employed a survey research design to gather comprehensive data on lifelong learners' experiences and career outcomes. The sample size included 180 adult learners, selected through purposive sampling to ensure their involvement in lifelong learning activities. The case study focused on several educational institutions and corporate training centers in Ogun, known for promoting lifelong learning. Findings indicated that lifelong learning significantly enhanced skills, improved job performance, and facilitated career advancement. Recommendations included promoting lifelong learning as a critical component of career development, encouraging employers to support continuous education, and integrating lifelong learning into workforce development strategies.
